In accordance with the deployment of Shenyang Engineering University on revising talent cultivation plans and the work arrangements for the Information Colleges talent cultivation plan, to advance the reform of the 2023-level associate-to-bachelors degree program, the Information College held a grand seminar on the reform of the associate-to-bachelors degree program at 208 Conference Room in Building F on the morning of June 9th. This reform aims to cultivate technical and skilled talents that meet the needs of society and enterprises, optimizing the talent cultivation plans for Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering, two associate-to-bachelors degree programs. It is designed to adapt to the learning conditions of associate-to-bachelors degree students, achieving "alignment between course content and occupational standards, and alignment between teaching processes and production processes," further enhancing employment quality.

The school leaders at all levels attach great importance to the reform of the special upgrading program. They specially invited experts from inside and outside the university to gather here to discuss the special upgrading program of computer science and technology major and software engineering major, so as to promote the steady progress of teaching work in the School of Information.

At the beginning of the meeting, Fu Xuan, the Party Secretary and Deputy Dean of the School of Information, delivered a welcome speech. Ren Na, Deputy Dean of the School of Information, introduced the situation of the colleges undergraduate program for associate degree holders. Shi Jiangping, Director of the Department of Computer Science, and Guan Ying, Director of the Department of Software Engineering, respectively presented the reform plans for the undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering. Subsequently, members from both internal and external expert groups offered valuable opinions and suggestions on various aspects of the reform plan, including training objectives, graduation requirements, curriculum systems, faculty conditions, continuous improvement, and support measures, from the perspectives of student development and corporate needs.

The reform demonstration meeting of the talent training program was successfully held, which is of great significance to our college to strengthen professional construction, improve the quality of teaching for upgrading from junior college to undergraduate, cultivate qualified talents suitable for the development of contemporary economy and society, and promote the teaching level of the School of Information to a new level.
